We realize that not everyone needs child care from 9-5. We are open early to accommodate a variety of schedules plus school delays and schedule changes.

We provide homework help for all subjects. We provide homework support so your child feels comfortable and confident with their homework projects.

We work with the schools to provide bus transportation from school to our center. We also have two Abington Kids Creative Learning Center vans to transport our Kindergarten age students.

We offer daily STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) EDUCATION lessons. Teachers purposely connect content from math and science. Students can then begin to see that science and math are not isolated subjects but work together to solve problems.

The most important year! In our Kindergarten Enrichment Program, students get the opportunity to learn at their own pace and progress as far as he or she can! Because our class is limited to a small group, all children in the Kindergarten Enrichment program receive the individual attention they deserve.

Our learning centers provide a program designed specifically for school-age children in a modern learning environment. Our certified teachers provide students with tutoring and homework help! We plan STEM projects, community service projects, fun field trips, and club events to help build friendships, leadership qualities, self esteem and just have fun!

MELISSA NAMIOTKA
Owner and operator of Abington Kids Creative Learning Center has a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Reading. Melissa also has a Masters in Elementary Education andis a PA certified teacher working at the Abington Height School District. This is a wonderful connection between the center and the school district as the teachers are preparing the children to be successful in elementary school and beyond. Melissa has a wonderful, supportive husband, an amazing son, and two beautiful daughters! She enjoys sharing her passion of teaching with others!

ASHLEY BOGNATZ
Education Coordinator at Abington Kids, has been with Abington Kids since 2019 as a Pre-K teacher. She has a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a master’s degree in Reading Education. She is a PA certified early childhood education teacher as well as a certified reading specialist. She has spent time in classrooms ranging from preschool through 6th grade over the past 11 years. She helps the teachers to ensure the curriculum is enriched, developmentally appropriate, and in line with the school district while keeping learning fun, hands-on, and interactive.

KASSIDY PUCKETT
Assistant Director, has been with Abington Kids since 2017. She began as an Assistant Teacher and moved into the Assistant Director role. She has her Associates degree in Early Childhood Education from Lackawanna College and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies at Keystone College. Kassidy has always had a passion for teaching and inspiring young minds. She is an avid sports fan who loves spending time with her family and her sweet Border Terrier, Kali.
