MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT ARE YOUR ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE PROCEDURES?

Children must be signed in upon arrival and departure.

WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR?

Attire should be comfortable and appropriate to activities and weather. All clothing, hats, towels, bags, etc. must be clearly labeled. We ask that the children wear their Abington Kids tie dye t-shirts on field trip days.

WHAT ARE FIELD TRIP COSTS?

The cost of field trips will vary; however they will not exceed $10. Field trips are optional.

CAN I SEND SPENDING MONEY FOR MY CHILD ON FIELD TRIPS?

Spending money is at the parent’s discretion. Your child is responsible for keeping track of their own money.

WHAT ARE ALL YOUR POLICIES ?

A Parent Handbook will be provided that includes all our policies. If you have any questions, please contact us and we’ll be happy to answer your questions.

DO YOU HAVE HALF DAY AND/OR FULL DAY PROGRAMS FOR PRE-KINDERGARTEN AND KINDERGARTEN?

Yes, based on availability.

WHAT ARE THE HOURS OF THE LEARNING CENTER?

6:30 am – 6:00pm – Monday – Friday

DO WE WORK WITH THE SCHOOL DISTRICT TO KEEP THE CHILDREN CURRENT ON ASSIGNMENTS AND CURRICULUM?

Yes, we work with the school districts to make sure that we are strengthening the student’s ability to progress in each subject area.

ARE WE OPEN YEAR ROUND?

Yes, during the summer we host a “Summer Fun Camp” program for children ages 4 – 12.

HOW CAN I ENROLL MY CHILD?

Please feel free to call or email the Learning Center to set up a tour! We will review all information in regards to curriculum, classroom design, and enrollment.
