INFANTS

Becoming Lifelong Learners!

From first smiles to first steps, your baby is born learning! At Abington Kids our teachers understand the importance of language, movement, and playful activities for your baby’s developing brain. It’s important to say that curriculum is more than “playful activities” – curriculum is also interactions, relationships, routines, transitions, and more. Based on the individualized schedule of each infant, our program is an extension of the home, providing a welcoming, safe, and stimulating learning environment. Our planned developmental activities are significant characteristics of the infant program, which is designed to meet each child’s emotional, social, cognitive, and physical needs.
Personalized schedules Daily routines and schedules (including sleep and mealtimes) are individualized, based on parent preference.
Nurturing interactions Warm, caring social interactions help infants build positive relationships.
Safe, clean, welcoming classrooms All classrooms are designed to help infants feel secure and at home.
Learning through play Play-based learning activities enhance every aspect of child development.

TODDLERS
CURIOSITY LEADS TO LEARNING!

Toddlers are filled with energy, excitement, and curiosity about the world around them. They’re quickly developing their sense of independence. We direct that energy into positive learning experiences, offering toddlers the ability to move around and explore. Every moment in our stimulating classroom environment is intended to provide hands-on learning experience through hands-on classroom fun. Our toddler program encourages independence, engagement in group learning experiences and socialization.

Our classroom is arranged to introduce different learning centers, such as Art, Sensory, Blocks, Math, Fine Motor and Dramatic Play. As children explore, experiment and create, they develop self-confidence and independence.
